Sunday Message, November 22, 2020 - Refining Fire of the Lord

  Loved of God,

Sunday morning's experience was a thought-provoking, reflective message that started with the following questions:  

• What are you learning about God and what He is doing in your life this year?
• What are you growing into this year?

As we head into the final months of 2020, take a look back over the past months and see if you notice God's involvement in your life.

Nuggets for the Week

• There is a war going on when we try to relate to God carnally.  That's why He refines us (prepares the temples to fulfill His will wherever he goes)
• Every seed that comes out of us looks like Christ
• This is the process every believer must go through
• We are a people created for His pleasure.  
• We don't know the pleasure of God when he uses our life to bering Him glory
• God is establishing a remnant whose roots are deep in His Word

Reflections

• 
  
• The way God views us is not the way we view ourselves.  That is why it's important to know Him, His character so that we understand and yield to His will. (Matt. 6:9-10)
• There is a surrender that must take place to see the will of God manifest.

 Key Takeaway for the Body 

• The fire of God comes to burn away every environmental influence that hinders us bringing His Kingdom here on earth
• When we hear God's voice, we act - that's the goal of the refining fire!
• Allow the refining fire to consume us...not back down or back away from the process in order to be an Acts church
