Sunday's Message, November 29, 2020 - Magnifying God, Viewing Him and Keeping Our Eyes on Him

 Loved of God,

Sunday's Message brought by Bro. Landon reminded us to keep our eyes on God to magnify who He.  Be a telescope of His love to others!

God Bless!

 Nuggets for the Week

  • magnifying His goodness is to see and getter serve one another
  • we have to have those personal experiences in order to share with others
  • we learn to abide, be lead and trust in His leadership and love for us
  • the more time we spend time with God, the more we know Him
  • it's not a method; each one's journey is unique.  One step, one word, one song, etc.  Whatever it takes to delight in Him
  • we can say we believe but unless we go through something (experience) we'll not know that he is really that goo, or that He really can do what He says He can do
Reflections
  • we pray "hallowed" be your name; make your name great in me
  • What are our expectations when we set our plans?
  • Who are we looking at when we do them?

 Key Takeaway for the Body
  • In our journey, we have to remember our experiences of and with God
  • we magnify God by faith and with thanksgiving
  • the more we magnify God the more He grows in us and we learn that nothing is impossible with Him
  • trust His voice despite our circumstances
  • this is an invitation for us to really know and trust Him when we don't see or understand; and invitation to let go of somethings
  • It's time for this church to let go of its control and standardized expectations
  • standardized tests - gives a level of understanding of where everyone is in comparison to one another; our standard hs to be Christ, keep our eyes on Christ, let go of how we think things should go, the duration of a situation
  • surrender to Him
