Tuesday's Bible Study Message, May 11, 2021 - Where is our Work?

 Hello Family of God,

Tuesday's message emphatically walks us through the practicality of using faith to work out salvation, in love, and sacrificially, so that others may see Christ and desire a relationship with Him.

God Bless!

        Reflections
        • What are we willing to go thru for Love, Unity??
        • Are we willing to be wrong on another's behalf?
        • Are we willing to do more work on another's behalf?
        • Because we encourage them to be their best in their part and then trust and let go and submit.  Humbly...
        • Are we willing to absorb costs on another's behalf?
        • Are we willing to embrace imperfection of another's behalf?
        • Are we willing to endure hurt, on another's behalf?
        • Are we willing to be inconvenienced on another's behalf?
        • Are we willing to be exhausted on another's behalf?
        • Are we willing to endure more than once or twice or a few times, or 70x7 times; feeling insulted, wronged, rejected, overlooked, dismissed, unloved (by our own expectations of love), on another's behalf?  Or even by God's expectation, demonstration, and requirements or Love?
        • Are we willing to extend, consistently, that which we do not feel is rightly reciprocated, on another's behalf?

         Key Takeaway for the Body
        • Our work is...
          1. where we are sent by God and led by His Spirit
            • Paul sent to Rome and visited various places along the way
            • Paul's submission and obedience to God's plan despite His own plans
            • all about knowing God, made in His image and reflecting our relationship for others to see Him and leading others into that relationship with God
            • seeing God rightly
          2. where we have an opportunity to work
            • Paul visiting various plances
            • Peter sent to minister to the Gentiles
            • Phillip in Samaria
            • Jesus, in Galilee, wasn't able to do many miracles but still went there anyway
            • start where you are
            • workplace, demonstration of serving
            • doesn't mean we are perfect but our heart remaining open, to grow and honor Him, keeping Christ in view so that when disappointments come we're able to display/reflect love
          3. Examining what you have to work with
            • lovingly examine God's plan
            • feeding 5000, what was made available to feed and care for them
            • work with what you have - the simplicity of a thing
          4. As we are working where we're at, not get caught up in comparison with one another, fighting to be seen and or heard from an orphan spirit; fight to yield to one another' fight to come close to God; fight to stay in a place of humility
        • Jesus is the one thing that held the disciples together.  he is the one thing that will hold us together
