    • we can have unfruitful lives absent of abiding in Christ.  It may look successful in the eyes of man but not be able to reproduce Christ in our lives or others

        • What it takes to grow?
          • burying the seed in the ground
          • light does penetrate the ground
          • the seed has the responsibility to push or journey through the darkness
          • roots taking in more water
        • What it is to abide?
          • abiding is intimiacy, attentiveness, time, aware of His Presence, drawing near, an answering invitation to die to self

         Key Takeaway for the Body
        • God knows where and how to prune
        • He wants us to be fruitful
        • God is worth the time spent with Him
          • giving Him the time and attention, trusting that He is doing a work in us
          • waiting for the promises being fulfilled in our lives
          • warring to make that connection with out Father
          • the relationship is the fruit that remains
          • promises contingent upon our response to knowing Him
        • Jesus walked out how to abide in relationship with the Father.  We are to learn and walk out our relationship
        • Learning how to abide in Him and His heart for us, even in wrong choices and mistakes
        • We have to see ourselves in the Redemption plan, where we are with Him now not where we want to be
        • It is needful for us to
          1. know Him
          2. know His love for us
          3. guard our heart against offense
          4. to love others well
        • Jesus has given us the enablement to walk out abiding
