Bible Study Message, January 5, 2021 - What do you want to see in 2021?
Greetings Kingdom Seekers,
In our time together in bible study, we shared with one another what we each wanted to see in 2021 and what it will take to see it come to pass? By the grace of God, although all individual answers differed the common theme was to see God's Kingdom here on earth (Matt. 6:10). What is it you want to see in 2021? What will it cost you to see it come (no cliches)? Take some time to sit with Holy Spirit and allow Him to guide you through counting the cost.
- Luke 9:23
- laid down life, knowing we belong to Christ and our desire is to serve His purposes
- Luke 9:41
- unbelief can hinder us from seeing the Kingdom of God manifest in our lives
- Luke 9:10-11
- Jesus had to put aside His own desire to be with the disciples to meet the needs of the crowd
- graciously welcome the crowd
- teach them the Kingdom
- heal the sick
- Luke 12:22-32
- not to worry, God will provide
- Luke 12:35-40
- be ready, live in a place of expectancy
- Luke 12:41-48
- remain faithful to the task God has assigned/designed for you
- Luke 9:27, 29, 36, 42-43
- being in awestruck of the man Jesus
Nuggets for the Week
- Allow Holy Spirit to search the cavities of our hearts to unearth any unbelief that may exist
- It's not a one night answer but a continuous conversation with Holy Spirit and an open and teachable heart
- Are we in a position to graciously receive the needs of the crowds or individuals God places in our pathway, to teach them the Kingdom and heal the sick?
- How willing are we to allow the Holy Spirit to interrupt our lives to serve His purposes?
