Sunday's Message, January 24, 2021 - What Do You Want from Jesus?

 Greetings Believers,,

Sunday's message asks us to look deep and answer the question, What do we want from Jesus?  Why are we following Him?  This week spend time in quietness with Holy Spirit to dig deep into our hearts and answer these questions.

God Bless!

 Nuggets for the Week

  • We are invited into the same purpose as John the Baptist.
  • How privileged we are to experience Jesus daily through the reading of the Word, worship, prayer, in fellowship with other Believers because they carry the Spirit of Jesus. (Acts 2:42, TPT)
  • We are to connect others to Christ (Gal. 4:19, TPT)
  • I believe we are entering into a time where it will be similar to
    • Elijah vs. the prophets of Baal
    • John the Baptist vs. religious leaders
    • Jeremiah vs. those in authority (King of Juday, military leaders, other prophets)
    • Jesus vs. the religious system

Reflections
  • Can you image talking about Jesus and then He shows up? (Rev. 19:11, 1 Thess 5:2-6, TPT)
  • What do we really want from Jesus?  Something for ourselves? A ministry? Or do we simply want to be with Jesus?

 Key Takeaway for the Body
  • Before we can prepare the hearts of others, our own hearts must be prepared (Jeremiah 15:10-21, TPT)
  • What do we want from Jesus?
    • Hopefully our answer is Him recognizing that He is the only source of life.  It cannot come from any where else and finally believe.  Not in words alone but in our actions.
