Tuesday's Bible Study Message, June 15, 2021 - Hope in the Fire

 Hello Family of God,  

Scripture accurately states that hope deferred makes the heart sick.  But it also let's us know that we have a Living Hope in Jesus to tap in to when going through the fire.  God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit all work together to bring us into that Hope.  What are you going to do this week to acquaint yourself more or draw closer to the Living Hope?

• True hope is powerful.  It goes on hoping despite what it sees

1. Heat - God is a consuming fire
2. Oxygen - Holy Spirit breathed upon
3. Fuel - Jesus is the Bread of Life
• spending time in God's Word to allow it to wash over us

• God drawing near is a source of heat.  Holy Spirit is the breath of life.  Jesus is the bread of life.
• They spent time with Jesus allowing His Word to wash over them.  Jesus was washing their foundation (feet, in hospitality terms)
