Bible Study - Holding Up Our Man of God

Hello Prophetic, Praying, Company of Believers,

Tuesday's message was a call back to a lifestyle of diligence, consistency, and intentionality in the place of prayer particularly for our Pastor, then President and Government.

Enjoy!

Scripture References & Highlights

Message Scriptures:
  • Exodus 17:10-17
    • vs. 12, Moses'arms soon became so tired he could no longer hold them up.  So Aaron and Hur found a stone for him to sit on.  Then they stood on each side of Moses, holding up his hands.  So his hands held steady until sunset. (NLT)
  • 1 Timothy 2:1-4
    • vs. 1, Most of all, I'm writing to encourage you to pray with gratitude to God.  Pray for all men with all forms of prayers and requests as you intercede with intense passion. (TPT)
    • vs. 3, This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. (NLT)

Nuggets for the Week

  • Listen for the Lord's response in what to pray or decree, then obey (Swift Obedience message 8/11/2020).
  • What you hear in prayer proclaim in the atmosphere.

Reflections
  • Are many of us been truly holding up Pastor's arms, in prayer, daily with  pure heart?
  • Are we receiving strategies from the Lord how to pray for Pastor and his family?
  • Are we decreeing what the Lord is saying over them?
  • Are we leaving them exposed to the attack of the enemy?
  • Are we praying for our President and government despite how we may fee towards them?

 Key Takeaway for the Body

  • When you have a thought regarding Pastor and his family, take a selah and respond to the Lord, "yes Lord, Your servant is listening!"  Then declare what thus saith the Lord.
  • Proclaim health and healing over Pastor, unity in the family.
  • We are part of Pastor's family.  We should be praying for, encouraging, and declaring the scriptures over them
