Bible Study - The Knowledge of His Will (The Storyline of the Bible - Adam to Jesus Christ)

Hello Body of Believers,

Tuesday's bible study was entitled "The Knowledge of His Will".  Pastor distinguished the differences between foundations laid rightly with Christ as the center and one where there is no relationship with the man Jesus.  The call of the week is to "jump off the ship of the American narrative of church".

• Distractions and alluring desires to not access Christ is going to increase
• God is speaking clearly like never before but many can't hear because of wrong foundations
• Gnosticism = decreasing the deity of Christ and acessing other things/ways to grow spiritually including only a certain group of people usually the philosophically elite.

• The church in Colosse's foundation was laid rightly on the person Jesus Christ
• they had authentic love for one another and it was evident that it was because of their love for Christ

Nuggets for the Week

• Someone with the right foundation would not need to be counseled but a reminder of their journey by bringing in the entrance of Light
• The storyline is going to have Its course...Christ is the storyline.  It won't stop!

Reflections

• Who is God going to use to defeat Satan?  The Church
• If the container (any believer) does not know Christ, many individuals can get hurt
• Believers today lack discernment
• God's will was planned from the beginning of time
• Satan never repented (Rev. 16:8-9)

Pastor's Prayer & Key Takeaway for the Body

• That God will accelerate our understanding of His truth of who He is because of our wrong foundational entrance
• Let's enter into the Storyline.
• Let's not avoid sanctification
• Let's not use earthly language for the process of sanctification
• Believe the Storyline...it's real.
• Jump off the ship of the American narrative.
