Message 8/2/2020 - The Power of Sanctification

Hello Body of Believers,

For those able to attend service at the building welcome, and for those who joined us via Zoom, thank you for sharing with us on the first Sunday in August.  What a blessing it was to be able to continue our fellowship and communion in two locations!!!

Pastor took us on a review starting the year 2020 off declaring, by the Spirit, that this would be a year of Purity and Unity (Surrender included) with the message of Gideon and how God chooses individuals.

Scripture References & Highlights

• Romans 8:28-29, 35-39, 
• God causes the events of my life to work because in we were chosen to be conformed to the image of Christ
• God's love will testify that He is with us
• Romans 7:21-25
• my inner spirit man along with the Holy Spirit will help overtake my flesh

• Accept the Power of Sanctification and respond
• No human has the adequacy to love us

Reflections

• God uses many outside situations to bring us to His plan for our lives
• We are living in a very crucial time that God has stepped in
• There are real life issues happening in the Western civilization.  How does this reality parallel with the relevancy of the scriptures?
• God is looking, searching and choosing people as the solution to society's problems.  This is what He has always done!
• No human has the adequacy to love another human. 
• Thank God that we are not excluded from Him shining His light in our own hearts

Pastor's Key Takeaway for the Body

1. God's visitation is for a purpose.  The power of God is not real to most believers
2. This visitation by Love (God) is to cause us to respond to Love
3. Start with Love to create an environment where people can manifest and we cover them with His love and allow the process of sanctification to continue
